Nothing sparks awe to your very core like seeing the Villarica Volcano (also known as Rucapillán, a Mapuche word meaning “devil’s house”) As you peer towards Villarica on a clear day, often times you will be able to notice the plumes of smoke from the top. This is due to the fact that Villarica is one of Chile’s most active volcanoes.
