You will discover a myriad of primitive and pristine landscapes so vast and so empty yet beautiful and full of vibrant life. Breathe in the city buzz in Buenos Aires, chill at a tranquil estancias, weave through Patagonian peaks and plains, high deserts and sylvan lakes, glaciers, wetlands and vineyards.

Ride a variety of terrains, twisty tight roads and gravel mountain passes. Climb active volcanoes, cruise the lakes and waterfalls of South America. From crossing the breathtaking Andean mountain region with beautiful forests and crops of fruits and flowers, to visiting the Los Alerces National Park, and heading to the footbridges of the stunning Perito Moreno Glacier.

On your arrival back into Buenos Aires – For something a little less polished and more soulful, we like to wander around the San Telmo market on a Sunday. Here, on makeshift wooden platforms or simply in the middle of cafe-packed plazas, couples of all ages will often start spontaneously dancing tango. It’s sometimes like a ripple effect: one couple starts, and the dance gradually spills over into adjoining streets and squares

Day 1 – Fly into Bariloche
Transfer to Villa La Angostura, Welcome dinner and briefing

Day 2 – 205 km
We start the trip in a southerly direction, crossing the beautiful Andean region with beautiful forests and crops of fine fruits and flowers

Day 3 – El Bolsón – 200 km
In this area the main attraction is the Los Alerces National Park, with thousands of years old trees, beautiful lakes and rivers.

Day 4 – Esquel – 265 km
We make the international crossing to Chile in the morning. We start the Carretera Austral crossing Valdiviana jungle and reaching the first fjord.

Day 5 – Puyuhuapi
In Puyuhuapi we will enjoy the fjords, you can visit the Queulat National Park where the Ventisquero (Hanging Glacier in the mountain) and the Enchanted Forest. And if we are lucky we will see whales from the side of the road.

Day 6 – Puyuhuapi – 300 km
We continue advancing along the Carretera Austral, on the way we will visit two fishing villages with ports on the sea between the fjords.

Day 7 – Coyhaique – 230 km
We are going to travel the last part of the Carretera Austral.

Day 8 – Puerto Rio Tranquilo
We will take advantage of the morning to navigate the Lake General Carrera and visit the amazing marble cathedrals (impressive rock formations) inside the lake.

Day 9 – Puerto Rio Tranquilo – 235 km
We will cross to Argentina through a little-travelled pass, with a landscape that will change abruptly from the leafy green of Chile to the arid and rocky yellow of Argentina. Lago Posadas is a wonderful place, outside conventional routes.

Day 10 – Lago Posadas – 292 km
More kilometers of wild Patagonia, huge and pale colors. You arrive at this city of forced stop for the distances to the other tourist places.

Day 11 – Gobernador Gregores – 300 km
Beautiful town, recognized worldwide for its trekking, located at the foot of the emblematic Mount Fitz Roy or Chalten.

Day 12- El Chalten – 214 km
Tour of Lake Viedma and route 40 that leads to Calafate.

Day 13 – El Calafate
Visit to the footbridges of the Perito Moreno Glacier, end of the route.

Day 14 – Flight to Buenos Aires
(optional 2 night 3 day side trip)

***This tour runs in a North to South then South to North alternating order
